What support do participants receive during their placement?
Participants receive intensive, one‑to‑one support designed to promote workplace integration and retention, including guidance from a dedicated Development Coach, workplace preparation, skills development, and referrals to additional support services where needed.
What support is provided to supervisors and managers?
We support supervisors and teams through induction and onboarding, advice on inclusive practices, access to cross‑cultural capability training, and ongoing check‑ins with a dedicated Development Coach throughout the placement.
What does success look like with Given the Chance?
Success means creating inclusive employment opportunities for people facing structural barriers, supporting organisations to strengthen equitable recruitment practices, and enabling secure, meaningful work that helps protect against long‑term disadvantage.
What roles and placements does Given the Chance support?
We support placements across a wide range of roles and industries. Participants are placed into positions that align with organisational needs, including operational, customer service, administration, facilities, warehousing, engineering, and more.

Given the Chance is a National Certified Social Enterprise.
